Overview
‣
Hannah Rose Psychology is a nurturing psychology practice
with a cosy studio in Paddington. Hannah's core mission is
to provide psychological support that is rooted in kindness
and compassion, empowering people to flourish.
‣
It was an honour to assist Hannah by volunteering my skills
with website design, development, photography, and
copywriting. Since Hannah was in the process of branching
out from an existing practice to start her own business, it
was essential to accurately capture her warmth and kindness
to connect her with clients in need.
Process
‣
Hannah reached out to me for assistance with designing and
deploying a new website to reach new clients for her
psychology services. I was provided with her chosen domain's
website editor on Crazy Domains. Although there are
limitations that come with a website builder, such as the
responsive design, I was committed to creating a website
that looked cohesive and professinal.
‣
The first step in the process was to meet with Hannah and
discuss her vision for the website. I prepared a short
questionnaire and a list of actionable tasks. From here, I
helped Hannah define her goals and arrive at the core of
what makes her business unique. We identified that we wanted
to highlight her cosy Paddington studio as a warm and
welcoming environment, as well as her trained therapy dog
Clove, as something that sets her apart from the average
psychology practice. This helped direct the design process
as I had a central theme and aesthetic to refer to.

Photography
‣
When meeting with Hannah, we had highlighted her cosy studio
as a selling point for her psychology practice. With this in
mind, I offered to bring my camera to her studio and take
some photos so that we could highlight this environment and
also show off her beautiful therapy dog Clove.
‣
Having intentional images that match the website's aesthetic
and design immediately elevated the website. The colours of
her studio are cohesive with her brand colours, and we were
able to accurately depict the feeling of walking into the
studio space.
‣
Not only are the photos visually appealing, but it was also
important for Hannah that her future clients understood
exactly what to expect when forming their decision to visit
her practice.
